This Basic Handgun Safety Training in conjunction with the Maryland State Police (MSP) advisories will satisfy Maryland's requirements for Handgun Qualification License (HQL).

This is a two-day course. You must attend both days to complete the training and fulfill the 16 hour training requirement. Completing this course satisfies the 16 hours of required training as well as the certification for  the USCCA Concealed Carry / Home Defense Fundamentals.

This course will review tactical gear and gadgets that will make owning or carrying a firearm a better experience.  

This course will review basic and advanced skills along with tips/drills for becoming a better firearm owner 

If you ask me it is never too early to teach a children firearm safety along with some of the basic fundamentals.
